The Department hosts and collaborates with several research centers dedicated to advancing knowledge in differen fields of research such as pharmaceutical law, national strategic infrastructures, sustainability and historical changes in legal systems. These centers reflect the Department’s commitment to interdisciplinary and cutting-edge research:

Center for Environmental, Sustainability and Governance studies (ESG)

Scientific Coordinator: Anna Chimenti

The centre aims to consolidate, on an interdisciplinary level, knowledge of some of the most important issues of our time, on topics relating to sustainability and historical changes in legal systems. The research and study activities of the Centre also involve the Department of Economics and Management and the Department of Wellness, Nutrition and Sport.

Observatory on Pharmaceutical Law and Life Science

Scientific Coordinator: Luca Raffaello Perfetti

The Observatory intends to build a permanent place for the concentration of knowledge on pharmaceutical law and legal profiles of life science developments. The objectives are expressed through specific areas of research, such as the right to health and the fundamental rights of individuals in relation to the public regulation of the use of drugs and substances, in the challenging dialectic between freedom and risk prevention.

Observatory on National Strategic Infrastructures

Scientific Coordinator: Luca Raffaello Perfetti

The Observatory aims to build a permanent place for the concentration of legal knowledge on strategic infrastructure in our country. The objectives concern both practical and theoretical actions, such as the monitoring of issues relating to the strategic infrastructure system, the scientific investigation of historical issues particularly relevant nowadays and the construction of theories and conceptual systems in a field of study that is still only to a limited extent studied.

Center for Sport Science and Human Performance - Interdepartmental Research Center

This center is dedicated to promoting well-being through physical education and exercise, exploring innovative approaches to enhance mental and physical health.

Centre for Physical Education and Exercise

Coordinator: Prof. Gaetano Raiola
This center focuses on advancing research and practice in physical education and exercise, contributing to the development of effective methodologies and training programs.
