The Third Mission aims at promoting interaction between the academic world and society, focusing on the transfer of knowledge and skills acquired in the university environment to the social, cultural and economic context. The mission is to contribute concretely to sustainable development, innovation and collective well-being, strengthening the link with the local and global community.
From a multidisciplinary perspective, the Third Mission intends to create opportunities for collaboration with public, private and non-profit organisations, fostering inclusion and mutual growth. Digitisation and internationalisation are key elements to achieve new challenges and consolidate a global impact, through the dissemination of applied research and the creation of knowledge networks.
